Individual Stay
Starting November 2008, suite-style rooms are available for individuals to stay on campus during their visit to UNLV or Las Vegas.
Providing a clean, safe and economical choice for guests, individual stay rooms are a great option for:
- Parents & family of UNLV students
- Prospective students & their families
- Visiting professors
- Visiting researchers
- Guest lecturers
- Consultants
- Meeting/conference attendees
- Faculty/staff recruits
- Temporary accommodations for new faculty/staff
- Others visiting the UNLV Campus or Las Vegas
All Individual Stay Rooms and Suites offer private bathrooms for Guests. Rooms are carpeted, have mini-blinds, a vanity area with a sink, and are air-conditioned. All rooms are equipped with phones and local calls are free. Linen (beds sheets, blanket, and towels) will be provided in each room.
Three options of individual stay rooms are available:
- Guest Suites & Rooms:
Each suite or room includes a queen-sized bed, private bathroom, desk and chair,
television with cable, alarm clock, and table lamp. Suites have private sitting room
connected through the bathroom (pictured to the right). Rooms provide sitting chair and
television in one room. All Guest suites and rooms have micro-fridges.
- Overflow Guest Rooms:
When Guest Suites and Rooms are not available, overflow rooms are available for long or short-term visits. Overflow rooms have two twin beds per room and bathrooms may be shared with other Guests staying in the room next door (pictured below). Linen (sheets, blanket, and towels) are provided in Overflow rooms but televisions, radios/alarm clocks and table lamps are not. Groups of 20 or more qualify for Conference Housing room blocks and rates (call for details).

Guest Suites & Rooms
- UNLV Affiliate – $30/night
(Monthly rates available for UNLV affiliates at a rate of $24/night.) - General Public – $40/night
- Additional Guest Staying in Room - $15/night
Overflow Guest Rooms
- $25/night
(Available only when Guest Suites & Rooms are not available.)

All individuals must pay a non-refundable application fee that reserves their place in Conference Housing ($25 for stays of less than 30 days, $100 for stays more than 30 days).
2010 Rates
Guest Suites & Rooms
- UNLV Affiliate – $36/night, $900/month
- General Public – $46/night, $1,200/month
Overflow Guest Rooms
- $26/night, $780/month

All individuals must pay a non-refundable 25% deposit at time of reservation
Additional Charges/Information
- UNLV Affiliate: visiting professors, parents of UNLV students, researchers or consultants with campus departments, etc.
- Individuals must stay a minimum of 30 consecutive nights for monthly rates. Nightly rate will be prorated after initial 30 day stay.
- Lost Access Card Charge: $10
- Parking $3/day or $7/week
Parking on campus is enforced 7 a.m.-7 p.m., Monday-Thursday; 7 a.m.-5 p.m,. Friday
UNLV Individual Housing offers a variety of exceptional services:
- 24-hour on-call maintenance
- Free in-room internet access
- 24-hour campus security
- Convenient access to Dining Commons and Student Union dining options
- Vending machines
- TV lounge
- UNLV Student Recreation and Wellness Center individual day passes ($10/day or $30/month for Nevada residents)
- Access to on-site laundry facilities
A limited quantity of suite rooms are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Don't wait to reserve a room for you or your guest!
